Wells-Next-The-Sea has a long sandy beach backed by dunes and pine trees. Wells Beach is well known for its attractive beach huts. You can walk or drive to the beach, or take the miniature railway which runs up to the Pinewoods Camping Site.

Blakeney Point is very close by, a National Nature Reserve, famous for bird watching, park at Cley beach and walk to the Point.
Holkham Hall is still privately owned, and is the centre of a thriving 25,000 acre agricultural estate; which provides resources both to maintain the house, and to ensure that the social fabric of rural life remains intact.
Sandringham Stately Home & Gardens is the much-loved country retreat of Her Majesty the Queen, and has been the private home of four generations of British monarchs.
The beach at Holkham is one of the most unspoilt and beautiful stretches of sand in the country it is also part of one of the largest Nature Reserves in the country, which is managed by Natural England in partnership with Holkham Estate. The Holkham National Nature Reserve is home to many rare species of flora and fauna.

Brancaster Beach is an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty made up of salt marsh, intertidal mud and sand flats. It is particularly noted for birdlife and nesting terns are frequently spotted. Now protected by the National Trust, walkers can get close to nature and enjoy miles of unspoilt Norfolk coastline.
